Our Story

Our founder, Sabrina Molden, has a special place in her heart for seniors and those who are emotionally and physically-challenged. For all of her adult life she has been a loving caregiver to those in need on both personal and professional levels.  To leave a lasting legacy and in tribute to those who have gone before her, she has joined with those, whom she was blessed to meet,  who share her vision, in bringing more joy into the lives of an often overlooked and under-served group. The loyal, committed Board of Directors of Joyful Seniors, Inc. blends together with a perfect mixture  of relevant professional experiences and personal charisma. They are: Tracy Carr-Marcel, Latonia Nesmith, Jackie Som, Terrie Cureton, Henry Molden, Jr., Kwame Molden and Michele Molden. This  "Joyful Crew" has diligently worked together to develop unique and innovative  programs for nursing home residents in our  area and would hope one day to expand beyond this locality.  

Our Programs:

• UNIQUE ENTERTAINMENT: Non-secular, yet morally upstanding musician, magician and comedy shows. The "Joyful Singers" will be a special feature.
• FOSTER PARENT ADOPTION: Residents who are alone, without family and/or regular visitors will receive at least monthly visits from the Joyful Crew during which care package will be delivered.
• JOYFUL BINGO: The Joyful Crew will conduct and provide prizes for a hour of Bingo games.

Get Involved

If you live in our area, stay on the lookout for our upcoming  JOYFUL fundraising events.  We also accept volunteers who love serving the elderly or folks who are  physically and/or emotionally-challenged.  We’ll teach you all the skills you need to know.
